Portraits can be taken just about anywhere that the background and lighting allow a desirable composition. Outdoors in a shady grove or just about anywhere when the skys are overcast is preferred. Harsh direct lighting can make the elimination of shadows difficult and can produce highlights that are too bright. Indoors, lighting can present a challenge. Florescent or incandescent lighting produces a color cast over the natural tones of the subject. Digital processing techniques allow color balance to be shifted to eliminate this color cast. |

After portraits are taken it is important to review the results. Proofs can be provided in neutral, warm and cool tones allowing you to tailor the results to your own artistic temperament. |
