If you are interested in a purchasing a home computer, especially one that you plan on keeping for a long time or one that will be used for heavy processing like digital photography you might consider starting here.

For the flat service fee of $225* I will locate (or custom build) a machine that will meet your needs and is within your budget. I'll configure the machine, install all current Microsoft updates as well as the latest virus (and spyware) protection software and definitions. The system will be set up at your location** and I'll walk you through the new software. I'll back up any covered warranty repair with a service call to remove and replace the damaged parts. 3 hours of on-location service is included in the package (that can be used for anything you want, from instruction to system modification).

If you already have an internet service provider and email I'll move your emails and internet bookmarks over to the new system. If not and you would like one I'll find one that meets your needs. (ISP configuration must be completed before delivery of the computer system to avoid additional charges)

I will not, under any circumstances, install pirated or unlicensed software so please don't even ask.

**I live near Utica, NY. Local delivery is free. Outside the local area (40 miles), I charge $.40/mile and require $150/day perdiem for travel more than 120 miles one way.

If you already own a system and are wondering if you should upgrade components to improve your systems performance or if you should start from scratch I'd be happy to guide you through that decision at no additional charge (you could end up with a new computer (inside) while saving money on the case, power supply, etc -- resulting in considerable savings!).
